RBC and other industry experts launch CleanTech North
TORONTO, December 4, 2009 — RBC has joined a consortium
of industry subject matter experts to launch CleanTech North,
an organisation that helps early-stage cleantech companies
reach their potential. Headquartered in Toronto, CleanTech
North will help accelerate the trajectory of promising cleantech
companies to global markets.

emerging clean technology companies to network and discuss
related issues with industry experts, professional services
companies and vendors. The forum brings together expertise
in business, law, accountancy, engineering, manufacturing
and other professional services to give community members
market guidance and access to best practices.
Cleantech or clean technology refers to new technology and
business models that offer a range of products and services
that provide competitive returns for investors and customers
by improving the responsible use of natural resources, while
reducing or eliminating environmental impacts.
Other sponsors of CleanTech North include: Behr & Associates,
Cooley Godward Kronish, GCI Group, Gowling Lafleur Henderson,
GrowthWorks, HKMB HUB International, MaRS Discovery District,
